Good food, very tasty and good range of hotness in the curries. The kitchen obviously had a little trouble handling a table of our size (14) as last dish came out maybe 45 minutes after the first (I wasn't actually checking the time, but by the time the last dish arrived, every other dish had been cleaned out, our plates were clean and there was no rice left). Other than that though, a reasonable meal was had and there were no complaints.
Yeah, unfortunately dishes came out single-file with intervals. The food itself was fine. I guess it is a curry house you might consider if you were in that neck of the woods on a Friday night with 2 or 3 other people. There again, there are alternatives for a curry, even in Lygon Street.
My first expereince of the MCC - narrowly escaped wearing the drinks tray from the trainee waitress helping out her auntie for the night. It could only get better from there, and it did. Food rating though - better side of average but not far from it. Ice cream & drinks afterwards - 5 stars.
Good work guys - hope to see you at the next one
I think it was good. Can't remember really.
First time diner with the MCC and first time poster. Good vego nosh, but timing of dishes coming out was a bit delayed.
Post dinner drinks at some little, off the main street bar, was a highlight. Looking forward to the next venue.
