Style: Indian. The winner of the 1996 Australian and Victorian Indian Restaurant of the Year Awards!
Ambience: They say: "The restaurant itself displays and reflects a unique blend of different cultures throughout India. Wooden carvings of Hindu Gods as well as teh Rajisthani tapestries are set around the restaurant to connect you back to [their] Indian roots."
Price: Pricey. Mains are about $17, seafood nearer $20. Vegetarian mains are around the $13 mark. Naans and roti $2.80. The food looks great, though, looking at their web site. ( menu )

Special Comments: This is not in the best part of town, but certainly worth a look. Received a good review from Liz Cincotta - The Age.
